myMedical History is an vitally important app for taking care of your medical business. With this app, you can maintain in the palm of your hand or on your desktop, all the health and medical information about members of your family. Since no internet access is required for handheld access, you can have that information with you at the doctor’s office, the pharmacy, the insurance company, the hospital, and for reference anywhere. Not only is it there for your reference, but you can email a comprehensive Medical History Report, save it as a pdf, or print it. You can also print or save or email a Medications List with a few touches and clicks.
myMedical History can help you by-pass filling out medical forms and paperwork and allow you to present your doctor with an up-to-date report of your family medical history, your medical history, and your medications list. Use myMedical History to keep track of when it is time to repeat an immunization or screening test and the date and results of the last ones.
Keeping your medical data up-to-date and complete is easy, fast, and efficient. myMedical History has just the right mix of preset and flexible features. Some data entry items are selectable radio buttons, checklists, or drop down lists with common choices. Yet, you have the ability to modify appropriate choices to suit your needs. The desktop companion version has intuitive type-ahead features.
myMedical History is encrypted and password protected to secure your data. You can change the password. Your data is searchable and the records are sortable for easy reference.
Each person’s record maintains data in the following categories:
• general health and identity information
• emergency reference data screen
• family medical history
• medications
• illnesses and surgeries
• immunizations, tests, and screenings
• insurance information
• legal and donor information
• doctors and specialists information
• notes
myMedical History can produce two types of reports for each person’s information entered:
1. a detailed Medical History Report that is about 4 pages long and comprehensive, including all the medical history available
2. a Medications List to take to the doctor’s office with you that lists all of your medications and doses and amounts and dates prescribed.
The Medications List can be emailed as a pdf from the handheld or desktop version or a pdf can be created and saved. The Medical History can be printed, emailed, or saved as a pdf from the desktop version. The data in the reports can also be exported as an Excel file or text file.
Using the myMedical History desktop companion file, you can import any current data you have in Excel, etc., into myMedical History.
myMedical History Desktop runs on your Mac or Windows desktop computer with FileMaker Pro 8.0+ and syncs to myMedical History on your handheld. You can enter data on the handheld or computer and sync the two quickly and easily. There is always a backup file on your desktop computer.
